Terms of payment and right to withdraw and complain

1. PURCHASE AND PAYMENT TERMS;

The course fee must be paid as soon as possible to ensure the reservation of the course place, but no later than 14 days after booking the course.

When purchasing a course on the website, you can choose the following payment methods:

Vipps

Card

Other payer (e.g. your employer or NAV)

If you enter "other payer", e.g. your employer, the business you fill in as "other payer" will be sent an invoice for the course fee for the registered course, and the business will receive an email with information about your registration and that they are listed as paying for the course; if the company does not approve this, you will be responsible for paying for the course; you will then be invoiced for the course fee and any other additional costs - it is therefore important that you have clarified this beforehand with your employer or the business you have listed as "other payer".

For courses purchased in other ways than via the website, the course fee will be invoiced directly to you or your employer, and can be paid with the same payment options as mentioned above.

Delivery of the Services;

The courses will be delivered in accordance with to dates in the course calendar, but Briga reserves the right to postpone/cancel the start of the course if enrollment is too low. In the event of a postponement/cancellation, you have the right to be rebooked to a new course with a priority place or, if desired, to have the entire course fee refunded. Postponements/cancellations of individual course sessions due to e.g. illness of a teacher, other external causes or in the event of a holiday does not give grounds for claiming a refund.

2. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL;

When you have booked a place on a course, you will be sent an order confirmation of your purchase of a course place. The order confirmation documents the purchase agreement and is binding. When purchasing a course via our website, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal without further justification, cf. The Right of Withdrawal Act. You must inform us in writing if you wish to make use of the right of withdrawal. This is done by sending us an e-mail to kurs@briga.no.

If you regret your registration/purchase, Briga must refund all payments we have received from you without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the day we received notification from you about using the right of cancellation. You will receive the refund to the same means of payment that you used when you bought the course (see section 1 on Payment), unless you have expressly agreed otherwise with us. You will not be charged any kind of fee as a result of the refund.

3. COURT OF APPEALS;

If, in your opinion, the course has not been delivered in accordance with course description on Briga's website, you can advertise the service. The complaint must be sent in writing by e-mail to kurs@briga.no no later than 14 days after the start of the course.

Conflict resolution; Complaints should be addressed to the seller (Briga) within a reasonable time, cf. sections 2 and 3. The parties shall attempt to resolve any disputes amicably. If this is not successful, the buyer can contact the Norwegian Consumer Protection Authority for mediation. The Norwegian Consumer Protection Authority is available on tel. 23 400 600 or www.forburkertilsynet.no. The European Commission's complaints portal can also be used if you wish to lodge a complaint. This is particularly relevant if you are a consumer resident in another EU/EEA country. The complaint can be lodged here: http://ec.europa.eu/odr.
